My name is Paul Heath, I am a registered Carpenter with the QBCC based on the Sunshine Coast. I completed my apprenticeship in 1983 working for a small domestic builder with the majority of projects about the Redland Bay And surrounding areas. I went to Queenstown NZ and worked for a builder doing high end alpine homes and Commercial Tilt Slab construction, which was a valuable experience.

I came back to Australia in 1989 and followed an Airline career which lasted until recently. During those years I kept involved in my trade doing Warehouse Conversion work in the inner city suburbs of Melbourne and my own property developments, the crown of which was my home at Mt Macedon, northwest of the CBD.

During my arrival back on the Sunshine Coast my projects have been building and doing Carpentry at Buderim, Marcoola, Beachmere and Maleny and surrounding areas. I have included photos of these projects to demonstrate my knowledge and skill base. See Projects.

I have developed an affinity towards the Queenslander, New England/ Hampton Architectural Styles of which my passion is strong.

If by chance, your building and maintenance needs are more contemporary in design, I am more than capable to collaborate with you to realise your vision.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my website.

I recently lifted my home at Marcoola.
The lift revealed extensive rot about the front verandah..
My contract with builder did not cover this and for him to do the job was very expensive.
Paul was someone recommended, he came out promptly and explained clearly what was needed.
We discussed that the lift had left the house top heavy as well and that whilst we were going to replace the the verandah and deck, it might be worth looking at a period type pergola to balance the building..
The result was a structure that gave my home such street appeal that people stop and admire my home..
I am extremely happy with result and am glad to be able to recommend Paul.

What they say

Our home was in need of a face lift, it had rot in the stairs and handrails and needed a coat of paint.
We contacted Paul through a mutual friend.
I mentioned I would like to make the house look a bit like a Hampton house and that the front stairs had to be wide.
My partner followed Paul about the house painting behind him as his put trims around the doors and windows.
The result was that our home is a place we can be proud of.
We still have plenty to do and Paul is flexible to come and go as we need him.
Paul is craftsman’s like in his approach and we are delighted to recommend him to anyone needing a quality carpenter.
